Every single cactus pear and cactus leave is picked by hand using a special knife to avoid damaging the fruit. After that they are transported to our high-tech packaging facility where all the tiny spines are brushed off. To complete the process, all of our cactus pear and cactus leaves are packaged and shipped into cartoon boxes weighting 12 lbs to their final destinations. Shipments are made in 53 ft. containers, temperature controlled at 50 F carrying 20 pallets with 180 boxes per pallet.
